Please join us Wednesday, May 7th from 5pm-8pm for an evening of casual shopping and socializing. A unique tapestry of local vendors and artisans will be showcasing their wares at Alto, the Italian restaurant across from the Art Alliance and Gallery Shop in Lemont. Come and enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar as you browse thru a superb selection of Jewelry, Print Making, Stained Glass Art, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Photography, and Shadow Box Word Art. As we head into spring, this is the perfect chance to finish up your Mothers Day shopping, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones. Save the Date! We are moms helping moms but in addition we help our community and other needy family related charities.We are having a Mothers Day Tea for our Club May 6th at which we will be having a silent auction and raffle. The money raised by your donations will go to our community.. We have a shelter for homeless children/families that we donate and visit regularly celebrating the childrens’ Birthdays. We bring home made goodies, do a craft, and play with the kids. We also do a program called grandmas backpack for school related items, thanks giving dinners, as well as gift giving at the holidays for Moms and kids in crisis situations as well as other families at that time. We visit and serenade our seniors in the area. These Charity events we help to fund and participate are enriching to us as parents, our children as growing individuals, the people we are connecting with as good humans and further gives to our community locally and Karma wise you could say globally. We have helped Globally too..just thinking of it. I think this would be another Great way to get Etsy out into the mainstream …what a better way than with moms who control the purse strings! Tempt them expand their horizons with your lovely Handcrafted Creations! Please include your business card or even a card with your info on it.I would like to ask for donations of regular sized items not promos or thank yous. I think it would be fun to get some Guy things too!I have done some pifs and with those items I am asking the MOMS that receive them to do a PiF themselves. I could ask the same for all the donations if you would like. We have a Newsletter that goes to about 50 households (all Our Members) And I will have you published in it. You can also receive a thank you letter with our tax id for a tax deductible donation. Please convo me and let me know about the letter and I can send you my address too. An Artful Evening

The above piece was donated to the Palmer Museum of Art Silent Auction. The Auction will take place on Friday, May 11, 2007. All proceeds will benefit the Palmer Museum of Art in State College PA.

This is really exciting for me, I wish I could attend. My work will be next to some of the most talented local artists. Check out the website.
